José Veiga

José Manuel Monteiro da Veiga (born 18 December 1976) is a Cape Verdean footballer.
Having begun playing in Portugal and Spain for clubs including Levante and Estrela Amadora, Veiga moved to England in 2006, where he forged a solid career in the lower leagues, first representing Tamworth in non-league and enjoying a three-year stint in the Football League with Macclesfield Town before returning to non-league with Harrogate Town, Tamworth, Worcester City and latterly Nantwich Town. Veiga recently signed for Redditch United.
At international level, Veiga, born in Portugal, represented the Cape Verde national team on 13 occasions between 2004 and 2007.
